For a minimum of three months, you’ll work one-on-one with a registered nurse and certified health and wellness coach, establishing a confidential partnership which will empower you to make lasting lifestyle changes that will significantly impact your health and well-being. Through a deep exploration of your health concerns, goals, and existing lifestyle, MIX will work with you to identify your challenges, develop customized strategies that fit into your life, take action, and get results!
Step 1 – Introductory Session (Free)
This is an opportunity for you and your MIX Coach to become acquainted, gain some insight into what areas you’d like to improve upon in your life, learn about the coaching process, and determine if it’s a good fit for you. The session lasts for 30 minutes.
Step 2 – Initial Session
Before this session, you will have filled out an extensive questionnaire, which will be used to determine your current status and where you want to be in the future. This session lasts between 60-75 minutes and will focus on three areas.
1. Painting Your Personal Wellness Vision
Do you want to feel confident in your own skin? Lose weight? Be an active and energetic participant in your life? This is what you’re aspiring to become in 6 months, one year, five years, or beyond. This is what drives you! In a reflective and supportive manner, MIX will help you to craft your personal wellness vision, anticipate the obstacles that are inevitable in your busy life, and develop strategies for overcoming them.
2. Setting Long Term (3 Month) Goals
Using your personal wellness vision as your road map, MIX will guide you to set 3-5 goals around the behaviors and lifestyle changes that you want to be doing consistently three months from now (and beyond) in the areas of exercise, nutrition, weight management, stress management, or health management. Your 3-month goals will be revisited monthly to provide you with an objective measurement of how you’re progressing along your path to enhanced health and wellness.
3. Setting Short Term (Weekly) Goals
After setting realistic, yet challenging 3-month goals, you are now ready to take action. At the end of this session and subsequently each week, MIX will co-create goals with you that you want to accomplish in the coming week around your personal wellness vision. These will be small, achievable tasks that will move you in the direction of your long-term goals. You will be given the resources and support that you need to achieve these goals.
Step 3 – Follow-Up Sessions
Each week, you will meet with your MIX coach for 30 minutes to discuss your progress and success in meeting your weekly goals as well as set new goals for the coming week. Your weekly goals will stretch you just beyond your comfort zone – a proven strategy for success. Challenges will be met head on and strategies will be designed for maximum likelihood of success every week. At the end of each session, you will have an action plan for the coming week.
Step 4 – Celebrate!
You’ll have a lot to celebrate along your journey to peak wellness, and your MIX coach will be there every step of the way to champion your efforts and success. At the end of 3 months, you can expect to reach more than 70% of your 3-month goals and feel energized and confident to embark on new areas. You’ll have the opportunity to renew your commitment to yourself and sign up for another 3-month relationship with your MIX coach, who will take you to the next level of exceptional health and wellness.
