Hmm…why should I be chosen? I would like to be chosen because I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. I hate to wear anything anymore that doesn’t have an elastic waist. I KNOW what I need to do to lose weight and be healthier, but with three homeschooled kids and a hubby that works long hours, I just don’t have the energy. It has gotten worse lately. I’m catching every cold and bug that comes along; my knees hurt so bad I can’t stand up straight until they loosen up; I don’t get out of bed until 10am because I can’t go to sleep until 2am; my kids want something other than cereal for breakfast, but frankly I don’t even feel like eating half the time. It’s just a vicious cycle.

I don’t think I’m any more deserving than someone else, but something has got to change.

I would totally love to win a spot. Although I tend to eat pretty well, life with 3 young kids can be pretty crazy. Add to that a new full time job and a wonderfully wacky husband, and I could definitely stand to get back on track.

Wow….there are so many reasons why I would love this. I am planning on doing a cleanse at the beginning of the year….it would be amazing to be able to follow yours which I know I would never be able to afford! I’ve been struggling with weight for the past year, I have to pull myself out of bed in the morning and I am ready for a change!

I would like to be chosen for a spot in the detox because I have struggled with my weight since I was 11. At my parent’s house, I was abused and neglected and never given very much to eat. Around 11 years old, my parents decided they didn’t want me anymore so the sent me to my grandparents house to live. When I got there, I was allowed to eat whatever I wanted, and I did! I used (and still do) food as a coping mechanism for my emotions, and felt I needed to ‘stock up’ in case I wasn’t allowed to eat again. But now, I am stuck in the habit of eating a ton ‘just in case’ and to cope with my emotions. I am ready (at 23) to finally make a change. I have a loving husband and 2 wonderful daughters that I need to be around for. I need to make a drastic change in order to get healthy. If you chose me, you will be helping me make the change necessary to lose weight, get healthy, and be around for my family. You will be helping me break a cycle that has plagued me for 12 years.

I am sick of seeing myself badly and feeling like I have to live with what I see. I want to try something new, give me a jump to eat right and become active again. I’m sick of feeling like crud and passing it off like it’s OK, cause it’s not.

I would love to win so I can allow my body a fresh start to battle the winter microbes, the heavy food eaten in winter, to be less sick … and i would pass all i learn to my girl Fi, she is ill most of the time, and her body can use a good cleaning as well.

I think detox should not be done by oneself, so, with a program like yours, it should be doable.

And if we both lose some weight meanwhile, that would be super as well.

As to why me (or us) vs someone else … that’s the kind of question i dread at job interviews too … there might be needier souls out there .. who knows … i think everyone interested with willpower to follow the program through could be applicable to such a nice gift.

So I end here with saying, good luck to all :)

I would like to be chosen to prove that a newly post menopausal woman we don’t have to accept the weight gain and slowed metabolism that is so widely believed to be just a part of aging. I am active and exercise regularly, eat real foods and avoid processed foods, yet since passing through menopause have really struggled with weight gain for no reason.

I would appreciate being chosen because I finally believe I deserve it. All of my life, I have struggled with believing in my own self worth. Thankfully I have changed that mindset over the past year and have done a lot of work towards becoming the beautiful woman I am. I feel better than I ever have about myself on a emotional level BUT I cannot shed the weight. I don’t have the money to join a gym. Whenever I try to start a routine, I begin with a high surge of motivation but then give up on myself and it in just days. This program looks like a great opportunity! It has been a long struggle, and I am ready to conquer it….

Luckily, I’ve never had an anaphylactic reaction, but I carry an epi-pen just in case.

I’ve been struggling with sugar cravings for a long time, and no matter how hard I try, I don’t seam to be able to beat them on my own. I just started a treatment against an alcohol and drug addiction (which is making my cravings for sugar ever worse!), and it is very hard and challenging in ever way possible. But i made my decision, I want a new, real, healthier and better life! A juice cleanse would help me to get rid of all the old, giving me a kick start towards the new me.

After multiple surgeries, chemo, radiation and meds I am 30 pounds heavier and need to detox, cleanse and start anew. I am so excited of this opportunity to live life again when things seemed so bleak for a couple of years. If I can get my body back in motion towards health then I know others touched by cancer ccan too. I want to help them all get there one way or another. I am 76 years old. I have a fixed income but “unfixed” expenses! :D Last year on New Year’s Eve Day, I had a stroke. Although overweight, I had been losing steadily for some time. After the stroke I gained a lot of it back again. Finally, after a year, I feel up to and able to “get back into the saddle.” I know that being part of a group — even for a short while — would be such a help in doing that. I want to be able to help my children with some of the new, unusual challenges that life has recently brought them (like raising a step-grand-daughter), but until my weight is under better control I don’t have the energy to help as much as they need.

why? I have spent the best part of the last few years working on healing my inner self- learning to love myself, trust myself, believe in myself. A lot of these “things” I have worked on and have found forgiveness for are the same things that hurt my physical body. “Dieting” is not the answer, learned that all by myself. I am having a tough time trying to do this alone and am asking for help. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to work with you. It would really complete all the hard work I have done up tip now. I would like to be chosen because I am a young adult (25 yo) who is trying to regain her health. I have several autoimmune diseases and various other injuries from a recent car accident and I have forgotten what it feels like to be carefree and healthy. I was an avid athlete who was sidelined from injuries and it all went downhill from there. I eat fairly healthy, but at times my emotions get the best of me and I overindulge. I also have about every food allergy you can think of, and I just want to feel clean and light and hopefully it’ll transfer over and I’ll regain my optimistic perspective of everything that I’ll face in life. A year ago, I was told my gallbladder needed to be removed. I didn’t know then what I know now. Last January, I began lifting the “veil” from Big Pharma, Big Foods, & Big Medicine… This began my journey toward health. For 35 years, I’ve lived off of processed foods. What I came to realize is that I need Real Food. I need to nourish my body. We started buying grass-fed meats, pastured butter, switched to coconut oil, bought organic vegetables from a farm. Nutrition is critical, and gut health is the key toward health! My naturopathic doctor said my liver is congested, and I’ve been working on that but it doesn’t seem to be enough. My next step is cutting out gluten & dairy so I can take care of inflammation and begin healing my gut. I was also diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue this year & have been doing my best to take care of myself. It has been difficult to do this, especially when I have 3 little kids! But I realize that my health is a priority! And I’m ready… and I’m willing… to do what it takes to get the health I deserve!!! So, please choose me for this detox/cleanse so I can jump start my path to wellness… so I can be the person i’m meant to be. So I can be the mom I know I can be. I just need a little help.

My doctor of over 20 years has been trying to end my profound fatigue and told me last week that she is very frustated. She wishes she knew someone who specialized in fatigue who she could send me to. She asks if I am depressed and the answer is YES. But is the depression the cause of the fatigue or is the fatigue the cause of the depression? I wish I knew! I would love to win a spot in your detox program since I don’t know where else to turn. About 12 years ago I worked with a holistic nutritionalist and I felt good. I am now retired (felt I had to) and no longer have access to such a person because I can’t afford it. I have fibromyalgia and am miserable because it runs my life instead of me running it. I really need help so that I can enjoy my retirement and be able to do some activities besides stay at home and do nothing. I would be a very worthy and dedicated client since I take detox programs very seriously. I hope I earn a spot! Thank you for this opportunity and Happy Holidays to your family Kristen!!

I’d love to be chosen because I spend every day taking care of three (and often four) other people, myself really not included. I suffer from incredible fatigue, joint pain and swelling, overweight (despite exercise and a decent diet), allergies year-round, depression, anxiety, skin conditions, immense brain fog and food sensitivities. I think a detox would not only help me as a person, but also help me to be a better mother and partner.

Why should I get picked I will tell you, because I have slowly done more and more to get healthier over the years. I try to model being healthy for my kids because how can I expect them to be healthy if mommy isn’t healthy. I have done things over the years that I am proud of for example my kids LOVE all vegetables. I introduced them to all different kinds of veggies when they were really young and people are amazed how much they love veggies. I have been officially smoke free for over a year now and I have been REALLY committed to two different exercise programs TurboFire and Focus T25. Now I was a general store manager for KFC when i quit smoking, I am proud I have not gained any weight but I have not lost weight. I understand I’m toning up and I have lost inches but I would really like to lose about 20 pounds. I feel great, have tons of energy, I can tell I have gotten stronger but I think I need that extra.boost or help to shed these few pounds and lose that boating feeling i have from time to time. I actually start my new job next week and what a prefect opportunity it would be to start a.new job and a new program to get me even more on track to a better healthy life.

There are so many reasons I could share as to why I would be so thankful to be chosen. I am a Type 2 diabetic and I don’t want to end up a statistic. I have information overload from many hours of researching clean eating, food additives, exercise, nutrition…….. I also need to lose weight. At one time I wanted to lose weight for the aesthetic reasons. I now desire to reach my ideal weight so that I can live a healthier life. I know that it is no accident that I found this site while reading a post by Healthy Holistic Living. I believe that if I could participate in a program such as this it would provide the guidance I need to be successful. I so desire to feel better and improve my health. I want to be an example to others that struggle as well. If I am selected, I would be most grateful. If not, I am thankful that another will benefit from this most generous offer. Thank you.

I committed to improving my health and ditching the extra weight about one year ago. I’m working hard at exercising and staying active, but I’m not making the progress I need to make in order to help with the effects of a genetic disorder that are worsened by carrying excess pounds. Sometimes I feel like I need a PhD in order to decipher food labels and so-called diets. It’s hard to trust weight loss advice since there’s a variety of bad sources of it out there. However, I received a recommendation from someone who had (and still maintains) great results from your programs. I’m ready to make the leap.
